1) Monitor the quality of products, to ensure customer satisfaction and safety

2) Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analysis

3) Conduct chemical and physical tests to assist in making qualitative and quantitative analysis in laboratories

4) Interpret results of experiments

5) Create experimental formulas
