The setting

in Arizona but they moved to their grandparent's sheep farm in Rhode Island. It was pretty close to presant day.

Complications

1) They have very little money now.

2) Aunt Betty falls and is hurt bad.

3) Savvy and her sister have to manage the farm.

4) Their dad injured himself also on a ladder.

5) Callie takes Marc away from her.

6) She is wanted on a different team other than the fire.

7) They hate going out to protect the sheep from coyetes.

8) She has to fight to get her postion (the center).

9) Parents are never home leaving them to watch the farm by themselves.

10) She can't play until she is cleared to play but that is after the fire lost and the season is over.

Favorite Part

When savvy and marc play one-on-one in the front yard. Marc's a basketball star but so is Savvy they kept on going back and forth with the score until Marc hits the winning shot.

Lesson

Don't judge a book by its cover like

they did to Savvy. Everyone accusing her of taking

roids.
