  • He has also worked with The Walt Disney Company, ABC Family, General Foods, and Bank One

  • Chairman of the compensation & management development committee, and corporate governance & nominating committee
  • Started as a production research engineer at Exxon later to move up and become CEO
  • Dropped operating costs at Exxon in 1997 by 1.3 billion dollars
  • Despite retiring he is still with ExxonMobil because he hasn't found a suitable successor
