Scott Fitzgerald was a novelist but also a short story writer. He was born September 24, 1896 in St. Paul Minnesota His first novel was the thing that made him famous and let him marry the women he loved but later in life he got into drinking and his wife had a mental breakdown. He was born with the name Francis Scott key Fitzgerald . In 1917 he dropped out of school to join the U.S Army but he was scared that he was going to die in World War 1 he was a second lieutenant he was assigned to camp Sheridan outside Montgomery Alabama that was where he fell in love with a girl named Zelda Sayre.
