Turning in homework

Expectations

Strike 1: Verbal warning

Strike 2: Behavior Essay (signed and returned)

Strike 3: Demerit slip

Strike 4: Office referral

  • You will have 2 minutes after the bell rings to get your homework turned into your class periods drawer and begin on your bell ringer.
  • After 2 minutes Homework will no longer be taken and any student that has not started on their bell ringer will receive a behavior essay.

Classroom Rules:

1. Show respect for yourself, for others, and for the facilities and equipment.

2. Act in a responsible manner in everything you do.

3. Practice safety in regards to yourself and towards others.

Students are expected to:

1. be a positive influence on others.

2. follow classroom rules.

3. come prepared to class daily.

4. complete assignments by their due dates.

5. work to the best of your ability.

6. actively participate in cooperative groups and classroom discussions.

Entering

  • Line up along the wall until I come to the door and tell you to come in.
  • Immediatly turn in hw and begin on bell ringer.

Test/Quizzes

  • There will be a quiz given every Friday over the material covered that week.
  • There will be a Test after every Unit. (constructed response and multiple choice)

Exiting

  • The bell does not dismiss you. You may leave when I dismiss your table.

Homework

  • Homework will be given 3 to 4 nights a week. However never on Fridays or holidays.
