KITE RUNNER

THE END

AMIR AND MEGAMIND

Amir became good again through experiences that he went through just like Megamind did, Amir being beat up by Assef at the end and seeing poverty when he returned made him a see that is was possible to be good again.

Megamind:

  • Megamind's selfishness
  • Megamind's greed
  • Megaminds plan to defeat a hero

Kite Runner:

  • Hassan's trials
  • The watch and

the money

  • Saving Sohrab

All I saw was a blue kite. All I smelled was victory. Salvation. Redemption. If Baba was wrong and there was a God like they said in school, then He’d let me win. I didn’t know what the other guy was playing for, maybe just bragging rights. But this was my one chance to become someone who was looked at, not seen, listened to, not heard. (Pg. 65)

Our answer:

Super hero's, for the most part do what they do for others because they care and dislike the villain, but when the villain becomes the hero then that's a great story.

These two characters, both start out with selfish and self centered hearts and attitudes, but through the trials they go through, and sometimes created themselves, eventually became "good again"

Why should you care?

If you fell like you have messed up so bad you could never be forgiven, just remember there is always a way to redeem yourself.

Our Question: Do hero's do their work for self gratification or for the benefit of others?
