Other Classroom Procedures
Come to class prepared EVERY day. (book, binder, sharpened pencil, color pencils, glue etc.)
Be in your seat, with your Warm-Up started by the time the bell rings.
Stay seated until the bells rings. Do not stand by the door waiting for the bell to ring. Before leaving the classroom,
look around your place and clean up your area
& put books and items you've used in class back in their proper place.

It is
YOUR
responsibility to make up any missed work!
When absent, your best bet is to check with the teacher for missing assignment/quiz etc. before or after class when returning.

About señora Villadiego
Consequences of Ignoring Class Rules
Rule #6

1. Show respect for the teacher's property and others' at all times.
2. Avoid going behind my desk, opening my desk drawers or touching things on my desk without permission, etc.
3. Avoid touching or writing on anything that does not belong to you.
4. Pick up after yourself. Do not expect that others will clean-up your mess. Get up and throw your trash.
DO NOT USE the trash can as a shooting basketball. Get up and do it.

B.A. Business - Politecnico Grancolombiano - Colombia
To help you learn and appreciate both the Spanish language and Hispanic culture.
I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, & pet. I love watching the Braves, football, and occasionally soccer. I love to iceskate, read, and cook. I listen to music, and practice yoga. I'm always on the go!

Goals
LET'S GET STARTED!!!
If the bell rings and you're not inside the classroom, YOU ARE TARDY!

When coming into my room after the bell rings:
Enter the room
quietly
.
Hand me a pass (if you have it)
Sign tardy log and quietly
take your seat, and start the warm up activity/sponge
.

Note: If you're 10 minutes late or longer, it is no longer a tardy but an absence.
Avoid talking when I'm speaking and/or when your classmates are talking. Listen attentively! On that note...
I don’t want to see them on your desk or on your lap. Not only it is incredibly
rude
to be on your phone and/or listening to music, texting, playing games, whatever, while I'm teaching, you are not giving your full attention to what you need to learn! This, of course, can have a BIG negative effect on your grade!
You can live 50 minutes without your phone. Trust me. I've seen it happen.

Miscellaneous

A. There may be times when I may need to get everyone’s undivided attention so that I may give directions, explanations, answer group questions, etc. or if the noise level gets too loud. When I need everyone to stop talking and pay attention to me:
I will say “Class, your attention please” and raise my hand.

When you see me raise my hand you must:
1. Raise your hand and keep it up until I put mine down.
2. Stop talking and look at me.
3. Wait for me to speak.

PLEASE read directions before beginning any type of classwork - especially on tests and quizzes!
LISTEN to instructions before you start individual or group work!
Raise your hand if you have a question or want to give an answer - don't just blurt it out!
DO ALL OF YOUR WORK IN SPANISH UNLESS I TELL YOU OTHERWISE!!!
Food or beverage is prohibited in the classroom without a doctor’s note. The water cooler and restrooms are diagonal to our classroom.

Students should only use 3 emergency bathroom passes per semester. Students should use only the bathrooms that are within the boundaries of the pass.
