After careful observation, analysis, and interpretation of an artwork, you are ready to make your own judgment. This is your personal evaluation based on the understandings of the work(s).

Analysis
In this step consider the most significant art principles that were used in the artwork.
Describe how the artist used them to organize the elements.
Mentally separate the elements, thinking in terms of textures, shape/forms, values, colors,and types of lines .
Description
Make a list of all the things you see in the work.
Make note of the artist, title, size, medium and processes used.
List and describe all the objects (including people) you see.
You must be objective.
(ex. blue dog, not, funny looking dog)
