The Tucks return to Treegap many years later to find out that Winnie did not use the Spring water. She lived a normal life and died. They find her tombstone in the graveyard. They also discover that the Spring had been bulldozed over and is no longer there.
Winnie agrees to keep the Tucks' secret and get Mae out of jail by taking her place.

8. The Man in the Yellow Suit talks to the Fosters and makes a deal about trading the wood for his rescue of Winnie.
9. The Man in the Yellow Suit and the Constable leave the Fosters house to rescue Winnie.
10. Mae hits the Man in the Yellow Suit.
11. The Constable takes Winnie home.
12. The Man in the Yellow Suit dies.
13. Mae goes to jail and is sentenced to death by hanging.
14. The Tucks make a plan to save Mae.
15. Jesse gives Winnie a bottle of the magic spring water.
