We would give The Ghost in The Tokaido Inn two stars. We would give it two stars because we think it gives away the ending a little too early. We think it gives away the ending because early in the book it tells you Tomomi is the theif. We would recommend this book to people who like mysteries and historical fiction.
Seikei
Seikei is brave when he goes into the tunnel to find where it leads. Sekei is also brave when he follows Tomomi dressed as a geisha on the streets.
Sekei is curious when Tomomi takes the real sword. Seikei is also curious when Bunzo takes him and lets him talk with Judge Ooka.
Seikei is alert when Tomomi attacks him multiple times while the kabuki troupe is traveling. Seikei is also alert when Sekei and Tomomi are in a sword fight and Seikei blocks the swing.
The main idea of the plot in The Ghost in Tokaido Inn is that someone steals a ruby, which is meant for the shogun. The thief stole the ruby from Lord Hakuseki in an inn. A boy named Seikei is sent to find the theif with the help of Judge Ooka. Seikei goes on a wild adventure trying to find the thief.
