Positives:
- Bat is in the bat ready position.
- Feet are in line with the base.
- my body is turned to its side while im aiming for the ball when in the air.
- aiming for the bottom of the ball so i can get more height on it.
- feet shoulder width apart.
Inprovements:
I beleive that my form is quite good considering i dont play the sport on the daily but there are indeed some things that I need to work on. for example, when hitting the ball i think i need some more force behind my hit so that way it is alot harder for the feilder to go and fetch the ball so that way i can get a home run alot easier.
Journal of evidence:
Throughout my softball experience i think that my favourite part about the sport would have to be batting. I really enjoy the batting aspect of the game because i like to hit the ball as far as i can and believe that i am actually quite good at batting. When batting i believe that i coud maybe improve on trying to hit the ball from the bottom of the ball with as much power as i can get so that way i can launch the ball higher and furthre making it a lot more diffucult for the feilders to get my ball before i have made it back to home base. But, i believe that i am overall quite good at batting because i think that im good at getting the bat into the bat ready position before hitting the ball, im also good at keeing my feet shoulder width apart and putting enough power into my hit making it a lot easier to make it to the 3 base at least.
Pitching Analysis
Journal of evidence:
while playing softball i think pitching was one of my least favourite parts of the game but i still really enjoy playing the sport i think that if i ever play the sport again in the future i will most definetly work on my picthing a lot more as i belive that it is one of my weak points when it comes to soft ball. but although it is not my best skill in the game i still think that i am semi decent at pitching as i am good at throwing the ball with an under arm technique as i can control it very easily.
