H.H. Holmes or Herman Webster Mudgett had confessed to commiting 27 murders.

As time passed he then admitted to 130 murders but reseachers said he exceeded more then 200 murders.

Was intrested in medicine when growing up and graduated from high school at 16 and trapped animals.

He would attract his victums and get engaged with them then murder them. But, he made sure he had control of their savings and property.

He also had his employee's put his name on their life insurance so when he killed them he would gain control.

After killing the victums he would sell some of the bodies to medical schools.

He was arrested for insurance fruad after his house had caught fire and burned down.

He started killing people after he moved to Chicago and would steal thier property.

He built a house for himself later known as the murder castle that had trap doors and gas chambers to kill his victums by asphyxia and then kiln to cremate the bodies of his victums.

Him and his scheme partner named Ben Piteze. Ben Piteze helped each other to help fake Ben's death and they got 10,000 dollars of life insurance and they moved around to different states. Then Holmes breifly arrested in St. Louis for fraud.

He then met a guy named Marion Hedgepeth and they helped each other to set up a scheme with insurance but killed him nd 3 of his five kids and convinced the widow wife to give him some money.

In 1890's he was arrested and tried in court for Piteze's death and then hung.

Herman was born into a wealthier family during the 1800's while Gary and Herman were born into more of a middle to lower class family.

The places they were all living at was different.

Herman was not married to anyone.

As far as I am aware Harold was the only one that did not confess to killing people or how many of them.

Similarities and Differences

Their styles of killings were differenct along with their motives.

Harold and Herman showed extreme intelegence and intrest in medicine.

Gary and Harold were married and had kids.

Gary and Harold attracted people or at least everyone trust them when meeting them and felt like they were not abnormal.

Even when almost being caught Gary and Herman were not afraid to continue on with what they were doing until they could not.

They all put up some sort of display of their alternative life.

Gary and Herman are both believed to have killed a kid when they were young.
