Religion- ​

In Ancient Mesopotamian they believed in multiple gods. Sumerian word for universe is AN-KI which refers to God - AN and Goddess- KI. Their son was Enlil, the air God. They believed that Enlil was the most powerful God. ​

Priests in Mesopotamia were responsible for sacrifices and ritual that they thought the Gods needed. ​

Political condition-

The king's rule was there in Mesopotamia. They used to rule in the name of God. The king was the owner of the property of the state.

The most were involved in farming. Others were healers, weavers, potters, shoemakers, teachers and priests or priestesses. The highest positions in society were kings and military officers.
