- In Japan, the Emperor was at the top, followed by the shogun, daimyo, samurai, Ronin, then the peasants at the bottom of it all.
- To become a ruler, you had to be born into royalty

- the knights used swords and maces during battle
- Samurai used longbows and long range combat weapons rather then the famous katanas. the katana was a last resort weapon.
ARMOR
- Japanese samurai wore distinctive armor. Samurai on horses wore heavier armor with a helmet and shoulder pads
- the Knights wore heavy armor even without a horse
TRAINING
- Knights were trained at the ripe age of 7 to be knights
- Samurai started training with wooden swords at 3 years old and were given a real weapon at 5 to 7 years old!

- Samurai live their lives around to Buddha. they train and guard for most of the day.
- Knights lives revolved around their lords and manors. when they were called for battle, they were expected to show up or suffer the consequences.

-Samurai ate mostly rice, pickled vegetables, miso soup, and fish.
- Knights ate a lot of meat and fresh vegetables.

- Japanese castles are composed of a main castle tower, guard towers, a moat, and a gate.
European castles had walls, a dungeon, a moat, a gate, gardens, and living quarters.

SO IN THE END, WHO IS THE BETTER WARRIOR?
Based on the evidence I have collected, believe that the Japanese samurai are superior because they are faster and are trained from an earlier age. They are also faster because of their lighter armor.
