Asteroid Etiam

Asteroid Etiam's Danger

Asteroid Etiam and Newton's Laws

Warning an asteroid named Etiam is coming our way at 6.89 times 10 to the 15th power kilograms and is traveling at 103,450km/h. Etiam is more dangerous than the asteroid that is suspected to wipe out the dinosaurs.

Newton's First Law:

1st Law

An object will remain in motion unless acted upon by an outside force the asteroid will be our object in motion and giant walls will be the outside force that stops the asteroid. Also an object at rest unless acted upon by an outside force. The object at rest is the wall and the the outside force is the asteroid so the wall would be bumped I will include the solution including Newton's third law.

Newton's Second Law:

2nd Law

F=ma. Have you heard this? If so did you know it means; force equals mass times acceleration. The asteroid's force is its mass (6,890,000,000,000,000 kg) times acceleration (103,450 km/h) which is 7.127705e+20. But that may be powerful enough to wipe out our world, but our walls will prevent asteroid collisions.

Newton's third law:

3rd Law

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When the asteroid hits the wall the asteroid will be knocked well off course or the wall will move backwards towards Earth and the solution is that the walls will have thrusters for mobility and to stay away from Earth.
