The day my life changed
The news that I would be a mother changed my life routines, the important thing was not my job but my work as a mother, taking care of my son became my new priority. Now that I can look back I think that I really could have done more and I would have done things better. It is true that we were not born with the knowledge to be parents and that everything is new every day, but love always conquers everything.

He was born in Bogota on May 13, 2014. I was very afraid that something would go wrong with the pregnancy or the birth, but everything went perfectly.
If something had happened I wouldn't have known what to do.

The first year of life, there were many challenges that I had to face, today I think that everything happened so quickly that I could have enjoyed those months much more

When the time came to leave him in the garden, it was a very difficult day for both of us, we could no longer see each other on camera when we wanted, even so, as time went by, we learned that everything was a process that we had to live and for him it would be an opportunity to have more friends.
If I could have avoided his tears by leaving him at the door, but I had to do it.

By his third year we had already surpassed the "new friends" stage, and we started with birthday parties, collecting cars and creativity so that all the parties were surprises. I should have been cautious but I couldn't, my son always ended up asking questions that somehow made him suspicious.

In the fourth year I went from looking for cars in every supermarket to dressing my family as superheroes. I should have watched Marvel movies ahead of time so I could talk to him now without feeling so ignorant.

From the ages of 5 to 8 we lived many adventures, the time of pandemic, the challenges of virtuality and returning to school. We also had to move and do what we could to distract ourselves. For example, we had to improvise costumes, tasks and sets with the materials we had because there were days when we couldn't go out and buy them.
I should have improved my level of English but time did not allow it.
