In Gardenvail there are many fun and exciting activites and hilights that we are lucky enought to participait in. there are sum of the best and must interesting hilights in year 5 at Gardenvail Primary School.

Hilight one: camp
Year 5 camp is probably the best camp ever!! The cabins are really nice and they come with there own bathroom. the camp has a pool, a giant swing, high roaps, low roaps and on the last two days you gat to go boogeboarding and serfing, (my favourite activities!) the food was good, for camp food, and i just overall really enjoyed.

The sicence excursion to VSSEC was mindblowing! On our first activite we when into a room were we put on our space suites and then we wwnt into the oporation room were we had to help the scientists on Mars do there experements. then we swaped our roles and we did the experemants and the other group helped us with the information

The year 5 were lucky enough to go to Old Melbourne Gaol and Parliament House. Firstly, we got a tour of Parliament House and we got to see the upper house and the lower hous. It was really fun because we got to sit on seats that famous polotitions had sat in! After that, we reanacted the Nedd Kelly tryel. Then we had a tour of the Old Melbourne Gaol and we learnt all about Nedd Kelly. We saw were Nedd Kelly was hung and the sell he stayed in. we also learnt lots about the history of the gaol and about the ways prisoners were tortured.

These are only a few of my favourite hilights and activities that i personaly enjoyed the most, but i could go on forevere talking about the things i enjoyed in year 5! Overall year 5 is an amazing grade filled with exciting and interesting activities that everyone will enjoy!
