• Houston is located in Texas, North America.
• It was founded by the Allen brothers in 1836.
• This city had a lot of ups and downs when getting to its present stage, but it continued to grow.
• Houston was the capital of Texas for a short period of time when it was first established.
• Famous rapper and singer, Travis Scott was born and raised in Houston.

• boiled crawfish with a blend of butter, garlic, olive oil, and a few spices. This dish is of Vietnamese decent, and is found in chinatown houston
• Texas Barbeque
• Texas, unlike other places doesnt rely on sauce for there barbeque flavor, they use bold spices to elevate meats natural taste. You can find this at many local dine in resturants, like, Blood Bros, The Pit Room, Rays BBQ Shack, etc.
• Whataburger
• A fast food place that originated from Texas. They have a variety of foods like burgers, fries, milkshakes, union rings etc. Houston currently has about 58 loactions, making it easy to find one anywhere you go!

• The reagons climate is humid and warm, winters are cool

• Houston is known for its hot sticky summers

• Tempature varies between 47°F - 95°F year round

• Best time to visit Houston Texas are between late March to mid May.

• Flat Gulf coastal plains

• At about an elevation of feet (17 metres) above sea level

• Houston's vegetation is classefied as temparate grassland

• Most of the city was bulit on top of marshes, forested land, swamp, or prairies.
