The war with British Spain in battle of St. German
This battle occur in September 10. This was a short military engagement. The war was because of an area the Spain wanted.
Honduras beat British Spain
After the defeat the Spain never tried to gain control over the territory of Belize.

Honduras declares independence of Central American Federation
The Central American Federation control the states which are countries today as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, etc... There areas from Spain declare independence in September 15.

US Marine send troops to Honduras
A combat troop of the US about 3,000 arrives at the Honduran air base. A reporter saw an airplane drop near the Honduran side of the Coco which appeared to be two bombs.

Jose Azcona del Hoyo
Jose Azcona del Hoyo was the president of Honduras from January 27, 1986-1990. He was born on January 26,1927 in La Ceiba, Honduras and died in October 24, 2005.

Saturday May 18, 2019 five foreign tourist were killed in a private plane crash.
They crashed in a island near the Atlantic coast. They were headed to the city of Trujillo.
