HOW DO THEY

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

How do they

make a difference?

Without mineral engineers, America and other countries wouldn't be able to craft half the things we do now. Mineral engineers searches for iron, coal, quartz, etc. Most of the things we use in our daily lives contains minerals in them, I'd be hard to manage without; Bikes, cars and nails, things like that.

More Information

The median annual wage for mining and geological engineers was $93,720 in May 2016. The employment of mineral/geoligical engineers are projected to grow 6 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all average occupations. And in oder to become a mineral engineer, you will need a bachelor’s degree from an accredited engineering program.

Work Places

Mineral Engineers often work where mineral deposits are located, commonly near small isolated communities. However, mineral engineers can also commute from city by plane to the mineral cite.

Minerals are often deposited in places such as the Ilocos Norte, and the Iron Cagayan.
