The Story
The story of The Trojan War is about Paris of Troy ' stealing ' Helen from her husband, king of Sparta, Menelaus. Menelaus demanded her back, and when the Trojans refused Menelaus persuaded his brother Agamemnon to lead an army against the city of Troy. Ships of soldiers led by Greek heroes, Achilles, Patroclus, Diomedes, Odysseus, Nestor, and two warriors named Ajax. For 9 years Greeks ravaged surrounding towns. The Trojans found a large wooden hoarse presented by the Greeks, mistakenly thinking it was a peace treaty and bringing it inside the city walls. This resulted in the city being burned as the hoarse was filled with Greek soldiers.
