  • In their conquest, they captured Peking, Shanghai, and Nanking

The Rape of Nanking

  • Out of all the country, they captured Nanking took the worst abuse
  • 6 weeks between December 1937and January 1938, about 350,000 Chineses were massacred
  • In 1932 Japenese developed biological and chemical weapons
  • They used this weapon to experiment on the Nanking

  • Between 20,000 to 80,000 women were sexually assaulted and brutally raped sometimes in front of there families

  • Like the U.S which was responsible for cover-ups
  • But primally it was between the Imperial Army of Japan basically against the citizens of Nanking in China

  • The fear of losing the military caused the leader to remove almost all the Chinese troops from Nanking which left the city defenseless against an intruder
