INTERVENTION: THE FLOW
STEPS TO SUCCESS
IXL
GOAL: Ensure you get the support needed to excel in your grade level content, the EOC, and ACT exams.
Once You Log Into IXL....Then What
- Work through problems for the Math course that you are in.
- For Algebra 1:
- We will start on the corresponding lessons for the Scaffolded TEKS on A.2A and then move to the next section.
- You will work at your own pace to get through the content
- For Geometry:
- We will start on the corresponding lessons for the Scaffolded TEKS on 8.8D and then move to the next section.
- You will also work at your own pace to get through the content
- For Algebra 2:
- We will start on the corresponding lessons for the Scaffolded TEKS on 2A.2A and then move to the next section.
- You will also work at your own pace to get through the content.

HERO POINTS
Intervention period is designed to close knowledge/understanding gaps from previous years and ensure that you have the skills and knowledge to be successful in your classes throughout all of your high school years. As you work hard during this period, we want to reward you for your effort and mastery of material. This year, you can earn HERO points during intervention that you can redeem at the Falcon Store. Here is how you can earn points in Math:
NOTE: These will be logged into the system under Intervention LP (INT LP)

• Receive 10 points for being an inquirer every time you show your work for 20 problems
• Receive 10 points for being a thinker every time you achieve a smart score of an 80 or higher for the first time on a specific skill (Juniors – this will be when you receive an 80 or higher on an exit ticket)
• Receive 10 points for being an inquirer every time you achieve a smart score of 100 on a specific skill (Juniors – this will be when you receive an 80 or higher on an exit ticket)
• Receive 10 points for being caring by actively working one on one or in a small group with a SILT member
