a pharaoh played a very important role in the life of ancient Egypt, the pharaoh had to maintain control over the people and a way to do that was to wear things that showed that authority, so here are the things the pharaoh used to wear.

a vizier played a very important role in ancient Egypt, they were second in command to the pharaoh which means they had to make lots of decisions like being the judge for law breakers and advising the pharaoh on his decisions and actions he should take. the vizier also had to look the part so with that said here are some things the vizier used to wear

the chief priest played a very important religious role in the society of ancient Egypt. they had to represent the pharaoh religiously and was permitted to enter the inner temples where the statues of the gods were kept and clean and bring them food each day. they also had to wear certain clothes and here they are

nobles governed smaller regions throughout ancient Egypt, they would collect taxes from the people that lived in those regions. nobles could be either male or female both did the same thing regardless of the gender. because nobles are wealthy they could afford different types of clothing, here is what they used to wear.

priestesses were responsible to care for the temple goddess, they were required to sing and dance for the pharaoh if he would visit there temple. priestesses usually married nobles and senior officals. here are some things they used to were

scribes were very important in ancient egypt they could read and write and was resposible for recording the decisions of the pharoa. the scribe also kept the tax records for the vizier and the account records for the army. scribes are also one of the main reson we have any infomation on ancient egypt at all because of all the records that were kept.

soldiers

soldiers main responsibility was to be in the army and fight against any enemys. they were full time professional soldiers

merchants

lower civilization

merchants were used in ancient egypt to trade goods and special matirials. they tradedthings like linen, papyras and grain from egypt and other places. they imported goods such as wood, ivory, copper and animals

craftsman

craftsman were mostley used to build and craft important and every day objects that were necessary for the temple and the people of ancient egypt

farmers

farmers were used to grow crops such as wheat, barley and other grains, they also looked after the animals that were to be used as food or jobs. during the inundation when the river nile flooded and there was nowhere for them to farm they would take on building work

slaves

slaves were usually foreigners captured from the wars ancient egypt fort. they were used as domestic servants, farmhands or mineworkers. some slaves who were lucky could work in the pharoahs palace
