The Minoans of the Ancient Greece mainland were the first ever known Greek civilization to exist.
The Minoans represented advanced, distinctively Greek civilization. (urban organizations, writing systems, cities/palaces, extended trade, architecture and art.) Making this part in Greek history very signifcant
The Greeks emerged from the horse after it had been taken into the Trojan territory, defeating the Trojans, striking victory.
This war was very important to Greece as it established the first time Greece city-states came together to fight as one nation.

Although the Trojan War was violent and resulted in the loss of many civilizans, the abuduction of Helen (the Queen of Sparta), caused the need for revenge.
The Greeks had left a wooden horse for the Trojans as a “pretend” farewell to the battle between them by “giving up”.

Many of these games included boxing, chariot racing, long jump, javeli - (spear throwing), discus throwing, pankration - (combat sports), wrestling and running.

The decisive urge to go to war resulted in the Roman Domination amongst Greece. Greece did not decline after the Battle of Corinth, instead, Greece expanded as the Greeks and Romans both adopted and spread Greek culture.
Although, this war could have been prevented and Greece could have stayed an independant city-state.
The Romans had conquered the Greek city-states/mainland of Greece during the Battle of Corinth.
This battle was caused by dissatisfaction with Spartians as they wanted to extend their city-states power.

The Peloponnesian War, in which remained undecided between Athens and Sparta in Ancient Greece marked the shift in greater power from Athens to Sparta. The Peloponnesian War was caused by the growing power of the two city-states, which were the most powerful city-states at the time.
The war resulted in the victory of Sparta, making Sparta the most powerful city-state in the region.
This led to the decline of the once most powerful city-state, Athens, as they were then occupied/taken over by Sparta.
