ENG 230 / World Literature

ENG 230

Description

A survey of world literature from the ancient world through the sixteenth century.

Students will study works of prose, poetry, drama, and fiction in relation to their historical and cultural contexts. Texts will be selected from a diverse group of authors and traditions.

This course meets for three hours of lecture per week. Prerequisites: ENG 131 and ENG 132.
