UN agencies to transfer

UN agencies to transfer

Meanwhile, the Saudi mission to the UN and the Hadi government reportedly sent letters to the Security Council and the secretary-general this week calling on UN agencies to transfer their offices from Houthi-controlled areas in the north of the country to areas “controlled by the legitimate government”, presumably meaning Aden. The letters claimed that pro-Houthi forces had launched ballistic missiles from the vicinity of UN offices, specifically citing UNICEF, as these deconflicted sites hinder targeting by coalition jets.
