It is the place in which the data of an organization is stored.

It needs a space inside the building of the company with all the servers.

Advantages

ADVANTAGES

  • Storage of large amounts of information.

  • Cost benefits and time gained.

  • Good option to the enterprises to innovate.

  • Adaptability to varying business and improved flexibility.

  • Tranquillity of the client.

Disadvantages

DISADVANTAGES

  • Communication with the client is reduced.

  • Needs for additional efforts, infrastructure, creation, costs, etc.

  • Responsibility and answerability are in disorder when due diligence is not practiced.

  • Challenges caused due to natural disasters are more common in this method of operation.

Cloud

It allows offering services from internet, such as capacity of storage o applications.

It is growing positively with the years.

Advantages

  • Usability: the cloud allows users to drag and drop files between the cloud storage and their local storage.

  • Bandwidth: You can avoid emailing files to individuals.

  • Accessibility: Stored files can be accessed from anywhere via Internet connection.

  • Cost Savings: Businesses and organizations can often reduce annual operating costs by using cloud storage.

Disadvantages

DISADVANTAGES

  • Usability: Be careful when using drag/drop to move a document into the cloud storage folder.

  • Bandwidth: If an organization surpasses the given allowance, the additional charges could be significant.

  • Accessibility: If you have no internet connection, you have no access to your data.

  • Data Security: There are concerns with the safety and privacy of important data stored remotely.
