Did Johnson clarify his values and the company’s values in his apology and with his subsequent actions?

Johnson did clarify his values and the company’s values through his apology and his subsequent actions. John did clarify his values because he shared his ideals and that he did not believe in a segregated company. He claims that his company is for everyone and that everybody is allowed to use all of his companies facilities without purchasing anything.

Johnson’s apology and follow-up actions uphold Starbucks’ mission and core because he claims that what was done to those two black men, was unreasonable, and did not share any of the goals of Starbucks’. His follow up actions, shows that he is really aware of the issue that he had to close 8,000 stores, for training his employees to not let that happen again.

Johnson did find gaps between stated and actual values. As in his interview, he stated that the Starbucks policy allows anyone to sit in its cafes or use its restrooms, even if they don't buy anything

Johnson's apology did help Starbucks employees figure out their personal values align with the company’s. It helped because it shows that he is aware, and will be present in any situation. Also, if there is an occasion where the employees feel unsafe, Johnson’s company would make sure they are in a safe environment; Also, the customers feel safe in the place.
