Shawn Mendes was just a kid from Canada posted a cover of "Say Something" in December of 2013. That one video went on to changing his life. It got 11 million views leading him to fame. Becuase of his hard work and deication by cotinuusly posting videos of him singing, he was able to go on to be one of the biggest pop stars in today's world. He is worth about 170 million dollars, he was signed onto a record deal at age 16, has won a Shorty Award, he has 3 albums that have all reached #1 one on the charts, and so many more. He worked hard, and it paid off!

Robert Downey Jr., also known as RDJ, or Marvel's Iron Man, alsmot gave up on not only his acting carrer but his life. After landing a couple of roles in movies, he took on drugs (heroin and cocaine) and alcohol. He became addited and gave up on acting for a while. After being consulted by conserned friends and family, he decided to turn his life around and is now one of the highest paying male actors in the world. Without that push from his friends and family, and his own hard work to get back on his feet, he might never have gotten out of the hole he dug himself into.

RDJ was able to turn his life around and re-brand himself to give himslef a good name. By doing this, he was able to get the "addict" label off his back, and get a sucessful label onto it.

Scarlett Johansson, also a sucessful Marvel actor, almost quit acting. When she first strated, she was rejected from her dream school; NY University's film school. She wanted to give up, but with encouraging words from freinds and family, she decided to stick with it. With her hard work, she is in almsot all of the Marvel Movies, and many more. Although and oppurtunites door was shut for her, she work hard to re-open that door and fufill her dreams.

Madonna is one of the best singers in the world today. Many people don't know that she was constanly told "she wasn't ready" and "she wasnt cut out for this" (meaning music). Instead of breaking down and giving up, she worked hard and proved everyone wrong hard. She is now one of the most well-knwon and sucsessful singers today!
