Body Parts

Knowing our basic body parts is important. We used our bodies to move every day, everywhere, and at any time. We used our body in playing, dancing, sports, and in other activities. We are now familiar with our main body parts namely:

Head

Arms

Stomach

Legs

Body Shapes

Each body part helps us to move in any way we can. We can also use our body parts in creating shapes. We already know how to create shapes using our body parts.

Transfer of Weight

Balance

An even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady. Keep or put (something) in a steady position so that it does not fall. Balance is keeping the body still without moving or falling down.

A weight transfer or weight change is body movement so that their weight is moved from one supporting foot (or supporting limb/body part) to another one fully or partially.
