Teaming up with my wife, we started a girls dress distribution business with a couple that was our neighbors, they seemed very nice persons, after 2 years on the business, they stoled our share of the business and later flee away from our country because they scamed more families. We were destroyed, all our money, effort and time we put to that project was lost.
Came from a humble origin, disfunctional family, divorced fathers. My dad altough being a good person has married more than 5 times and has more than 9 children.
We managed to recover, found a friend that wanted to partner and founded a dress manufacturing with him as an investor. It was a success, lasted 7 years in our property, and reached more than 100k followers on social media. My wife sold it to pay for the MBA program I'm currently in.
I had worked for the last 7 years in a fortune 500, work was good, pay was great, but my wife noticed that we were not progressing, we stalled our growth, were very comfortable, so we decided that in order to bring more progress to our family we should target a new impossible goal. Studying abroad would push our family to better oportunities, that's why we decided to leave everything in Mexico to persue an MBA in the USA.
It doesn't matter how your beginnings were, the direction you take, the slope of your life is what matters. My wife and I have overcome new countries, stolen businesses, complicated degrees, fortune 500 companies and many more couple challenges. You achieve impossible by moving forward with confidence and moving one step at a time. When you realize, you turned your downtrend to a positive one, you turned impossible into nothing.
