Mining

a computer is made up of 30 different minerals that are taken from the earth. These minerals are silica, iron, zinc, aluminium, copper, lead, tin, and nickel.

When the raw materials have been extracted from the earth, they must go through a series a processes to be able to be made into parts of a computer. After that, it also requires materials to be shipped from all around the world to each manufacturing plant.

When the manufactruing of a computer is over, it is ready to be packaged. The parts cannot be broken so they pack them in plastic, styrofoam, and cardboard.

The computers are then shipped, oftentimes overseas, to stores, businesses, and homes.

Once you get a computer, it requieres energy to work. Computer are used for work, school, and entertainment. When new models are released, older versions of computers start to slow down and start to not work. Then you''ll have to recycle your computer and buy a new one.
