Similarities
Helena trusted Hermia at the biggining of the play, they were best friends. Much like what the song says, they trusted each other. The song says, "Did you have to hit me where im weak?", thats exacly how Helena felt, she felt weak because the love of her life had no interest in her, that was a sensative subject for her. Helena thaught that what Hermia, Lysander, and Demitrius were doing was making fun of her, so the part where Taylor Swift says: "Salt in the wound like youre laughing right at me" makes perfect sense, since thats what Helena thought was happening.

Hermia and Lysander could of been able to have it all, they were going to alope. "You had my heart inside of your hand." Hermia had given all of her love to Lysander, so much so that she was going to leave her friends and family for him. "and you played it to the beat." When Lysander told her that he did not love her, this must of felt just like the Lyrics, Hermia thought she had gotten played by Helena and Lysander.
