ATTENTION !! all teens !! ,

Nearly all teens will come face-to-face with drugs and alcohol at some point in their life. While some of us may be fortunate enough not to experience such peer pressure, the reality is that many teens have tried alcohol and drugs from friends and classmates. Young children are often exposed to alcohol and drug use glorified in TV shows and movies before they realize it is unreal expectation of drug or alcohol use. Children are unaware of the effects of substance abuse because they are presented with the image that drug use is fun and has no consequences. We teenagers set a good example for younger children and should avoid drugs and substances if you or your friends engage in activities of concern that use alcohol, tobacco, or illegal activities. get help. Drug use can harm you and your family in many ways, but it can also affect your health.

Don't drink !

You should never invest in alcohol. People pressure us, we watch commercials, emotional TV shows and movies, and even celebrities, but we don't know that alcohol is very dangerous. Alcohol increases the likelihood of using other drugs, increases the risk of developing cancer, and causes liver disease and other serious chronic diseases. One way to protect yourself from alcohol and drug use is to keep yourself occupied by joining clubs at school or playing sports.

STOP TOBACCO !

All forms of tobacco, including smoking, soaking, and rolling, are harmful. All tobacco products contain nicotine such as:

Cigarettes - typically consist of cigarettes, chemical additives, filters and paper packaging. Light cigarette smoke contains over 7,000 harmful chemicals. Over 70 of these chemicals are associated with cancer.

Smokeless Tobacco - Smokeless tobacco is tobacco that does not burn. There are many different types of non-burnable tobacco, including chewing tobacco, mouth tobacco, spitting tobacco, dipping tobacco, chewing tobacco, and snuff. Smokeless tobacco contains high levels of chemicals and other substances that can cause cancer.

Mixing Tobacco and Marijuana – Using tobacco and marijuana together exposes you to greater amounts of harmful chemicals. Combining these two substances can cause greater health problems than using either alone.

There is a lot of talk about drugs on the streets, in schools, on the internet, and on TV all over the world. Some of this is true and some is not. Much of what you hear about drugs is actually from the people who sell them. Reformed drug dealers admitted they would do anything to get people to buy drugs. Don't be fooled. Facts are needed to prevent drug addiction and keep friends away from drug addiction. Sooner or later, you or someone close to you will be offered drugs if they haven't already. The decision to use them or not can have a huge impact on your life.

Drugs are chemicals that affect the body and brain, and different drugs have different effects. All misused drugs can affect the brain. These trigger large amounts of dopamine that help regulate our emotions, motivation and pleasure, flooding the brain and causing a high.

For example:

When a tablet is swallowed, it travels through the stomach and small intestine to the liver, where it is broken down and the rest is released into the bloodstream, while the drug travels through the bloodstream.

You can always take steps to find the right doctor or health care professional and entrust that information to a friend. You can call your health care professional ahead of time to see if they are comfortable talking about your addiction with them. If not, seek a referral to another doctor who is more experienced in the field of addiction. There are 3,500 board-certified doctors who specialize in addiction in the United States.
