Uranus vs. Cronus
it is the beginning of everything. Uranus gives birth to all of the titian's with mother earth. Uranus is god of the heavens. Cronus is the youngest titan and is god of time. HE castrates Uranus because mother Earth told him to. Uranus was treating them badly. He through the testicles into the sea and creates sea foam. Aphrodite is born from the foam

-He eats all of them but zues ( hidden gives him a stone)
- zues grows up and goes to battle Cronus. when they fight he spits out his children.
-zues overthrows him

-Pasiphae is mother of the minotaur
-inpregnated bt the bull that zeus
-King minos sends minotaur to the labrintth(imbarsed)
- kills people that king minos sends into the labrirnth
-sacrifisial because king minoss' son dies at the panthenaic games by the bull that is the father of him- sending 7 men and 7 woman into the labryth every year.
- Theseus goes the fight the minotaur
- he was suporst to change sails but forgor and his father kills himself

- she is kidnapped by Zeus and Hades
-her daughter is returned but is bound to the underworld for 3 months each year
- This explains winter
- she is queen to the underworld because she ate a Pomeranian fruit
-Zeus told Hades to give back Persephone

- he is scared that she will kill everyone
- sends iris (a messenger) to tell her to stop but she does not listen.
- he sends his son to get Persephone back and he does.
-however she ate a pomegranate so she has to live in to underworld for 3 months every year.

-hera zues wife was entertained by nymphs
- her favorite nymph was echo and echo would entertain hera
- echo would tell stories to distract hera from zues leaving
- one day hera finds out that echos stories are true and therefor false
- hera curses her and then makes it so that she can only speak the last word she heard.
- this is the only way she can communicate

- he gets lost one day in the woods and follows echo to a pond
- at the pond he sees his reflection and falls in love
- he goes to hug but it just disappears each time.
