Social Media/Technology
In today's world, it seems as though people can not live without their phone or other electronic device. They are often spending their time looking at social media. Although there are postive things with social media and technology, such as staying connected with friends and family, ther are also a lot of negatives.
With social media, there is an increase chance that one will be bullied. This is because it is not face to face and it can be done under a fake name. Although it is a fake name, the bully can still be found through the ip address. If reported, the police can track down the cyberbullly.
With the many social media sites, people may get higher expectations for themselves. They may see the way others look or things they have, and may do whatever they can to be like them. This could cause people to make the wrong choices.
From this presentation, one can farther understand what a dystopia is. In addition, one can know the dangers of it and how to work to avoid it.
Thank you for viewing. I hope you gained a better undertsanding of dystopia.
