Why does Bangladesh have a high population density?

By Aaron and Antonio

What is population density

Population Density

population density is a measurement of population per square unit like km & meters. population density can be calculated by dividing the population, by the size of the area. it should look something like this; p= km2.

Why we chose Bangladesh

01.

Bangladesh is ranked no.8 in the world for population with 159,453,001 people.

02.

The rate of birth is higher than the rate of death with a birth every 8 seconds while the rate of death is every 12 seconds causing over population and high population density

03.

Bangladesh has a net gain of 1 person every 12 seconds

04.

Just take a look at the picture we just showed you if that doesn't have population density written all over it, i don't know what does.

Why is population density important

Facts

Population density is important because it can effect the whole complex of the country. If the population density is too high, the whole population won't be able to eat, which leads to starvation, and expands to theft and crime. That makes a bad reputation for the economy which makes tourism decrease and leads to the downfall of the country.

Why Bangladesh has such a high population density.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh is one of the most overpopulated countries in the world. If Bangladesh did not have a high population density that would mean Bangladesh would have to be bigger than Canada just to have a reasonable amount of people per kilometer. This is why Bangledesh is so over crowded because their death rate is lower than the birth rate causing mass population every year.

what is the population density of Bangledesh?

Using the formula shown earlier; the area of bangledesh is ruffeley 147,570km big. Then divide that by the population of bangledesh which is a ruffeley 166 million people. and the outcome is Bangledesh has a population density of 1,252 people per km.

conclusion

In conclusion the population density of Bangladesh is high because of the mass population and the resources they need, are all in one place causing overcrowded living conditions( seen in background picture)
