Andrew Jackson was born on March 15, 1767 in Waxhaw South carolina. His dad died shortly before he was born from exhuasting farm conditions where his faimly settled. He attended school when he was 8 years old and learned to read and write. At age 13 the revalutinary war had started. He evantully joined the war and fuaght as a messenger and orderlie in the american army. After the brutle war both of his brothers had died. His mom also died from a desiese while on an british ship.That ment his whole faimly was gone and he was all alone.

At age 16 Andrew Jackson went to law school and decided to become a lawyar. A few years later jackson worked at a school as a teacher. Evantually he met a girl named Rachel Robards and fell in love with her. Later on January 17, 1794 Andrew Jackson married Rachel. After his marrige, he and his wife moved to tennese where he joined the house of represanitives.Then he decided to take another step in life.

Andrew Jackson joined the Tennesse army in 1801 and soon became a general in 1802. He was also a genral in the war of 1812. The war of 1812 began when the british declared war on the U.S. Andrew jackson decided to serve in the war and joined the already astablished U.S army as a general. Andrew Jackson became a hero to all when he and his army won the battle of New Orlans on January,8 to January,26 1815. He also captured fort Penascola and St.Marks in Florida.

Andrew Jackson ran for president but lost to John Quincy Adams in 1824, but that didn't stop him from running again.In 1828 he was elected as the 7th president of the U.S which was sadly followed to his wife's death. Depressed and alone he would never be as happy as he was again. Andrew Jackson still continued aiming for his goals such as shutting down the American bank and followed by the Indian removal act.He also won the black hawk war in the process. Some say he was a bad president some say he was a good president, but none will ever forget his term.

After presidency Andrew Jackson went back to the Hermitage and made it into a mansion. Andrew Jackson continued to live life such as giving new presidents information, and advice. He went to big events and important speech's ignoring his health. Later it cost him when he died on June 8, 1845 in the Hermitage. He was buried next to his wife Rachel and was surrounded by family. Andrew Jackson will always be remembered for being a great American hero.
