I was able to get feedback from people who were mainly my friends and family from social media outlets such as; Instagram, Facebook, and twitter who I directed to my groups blog on blogger or more specifically our music video post.
From there I asked all my friends and family to text me why they thought of the music video so I will be able to make a response from there.
With our audience feedback we had two common postive repsonses Editing and the Story-line.
Editing - With our editing we had many responses of well done editing or more specifically a well fit style of editing we went along with the theme of the video, which we were all happy for this response as we were aiming for a style of shots that went with the theme and story-line. We also got a lot of love for the certain quick shots of myself in the house getting out of bed and leaving the house which people believed it was "well made" and "crazy".
Story-Line - Our story-line had a very unique meaning, and many people had saw the depression symbolism which were hoping for, people commented on the 'realness' and 'scary' side of our story-line. We were all happy that people was seeing our theme and story-line in our video and so we believed our message was getting across.
Story-Line
Editing
In my post's on social media I asked to give me the positives and negatives, which my audience has. The only negative I was receiving was the camera quality of the video.
Camera Quality - We received a lot of negative comments on our camera quality, as we used a common Iphone 5s camera and also a Samsung s3 Camera. We were not able to get the supplies of an HD quality camera which gave us a massive set back but we used the supplies that we had to achieve our goal on our video.
Poor Camera Qualtiy
As a group we had learned much from this audience feedback so if we had a whole new project in the future we will have improved in many of the fields such as camera work, and communication between the group.
We were glad of the amount of people who took their time to respond to our video and felt we had a very good response from the audience and were glad of the positive response they were giving us toward our music video.
