Interphase
In interphase the cell grows, replicates its chromosomes, and prepares for cell division. Essentially during interphase, the cell will have fully been replicated and prepared to be split during mitosis.
Prophase
Prophase is a stage of cell division, before metaphase, during which the chromosomes become visible as paired chromatids and the nuclear envelope disappears. This will occur after the process of Interphase.
In Late Prophase
In Late prophase, also known as prometaphase, the spindle organizes the chrommosomes. The chromosomes condense and the nuclear envelope breaks down and releases the chrommosomes.
Metaphase
Metaphase is a stage of cell division, between prophase and anaphase, during which the chromosomes become attached to the spindle fibers. The chromosomes move to line up along the middle of the cell and stay there in a group.
Anaphase
Anaphase is a stage of mitosis, after metaphase and between telophase, in which the chromosomes move away from one another to opposite poles of the spindle. During this phase, the cell will start to change shape and become more of an "oval".
Telophase
Telophase is the last stage of mitosis during which chromatids or chromosomes move to opposite ends of the cell and two nuclei are formed. Here, the chromosomes will fully be on opposite sides.
Cytokinesis
Right after Telophase is a process called cytokinesis, where the cell splits in two, dividing the chromosomes completely away from each other into two new daughter cells. After this process occurs, the cell cycle will start again.
