Creating awareness for the welfare of women and girls
Ways to spread awareness as a part of our community:
- As a child, we can spend our free time using our creativity to make posters to change people's mindsets about the way of treating women and girls.
- Know your own rights, and be educated about how to respond to abuse.
- At home, people can give their children the same amount of work in everything, and treat everyone equally to create a bigger difference.
What is
Human Trafficking?
Human trafficking isn't very different from slavery. When a person is forced or tricked into working in threatening or dangerous and illegal conditions which is bad or unhealthy for them. A person who is trafficked may be drugged, locked up, beaten, starved, or made to work for many hours a day. Girls and women are the most common victims of this type of trafficking.
