I AM...

Two of the most powerful words

One Word at a Time

Mindfullness

Fun, breakfast, calendar, awareness, love, relationship, war, peace, self-advocacy, nose hair, lavender, my voice, hammock, dog drool, mindfulness, kitten, strength, sleep, values, exercise, healing.

Find yourself a comfortable position with your feet flat on the floor, back resting against the back of the chair, arms resting gently in your lap with palms facing up.

Close your eyes

Close your eyes

When you are ready, close your eyes. Now take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Do it again. With each breath relax and clear out your mind more and more. One more time. Inhale awareness, and exhale distraction.

Close your eyes

Turn in to my voice. I am going to say a set of words one at a time. I way say one word and then pause for a moment. Then I will say another word and pause for another moment and so one and so forth. Your tasks is to notice what come up in you when I say a word, such as a thought, feeling, urge, image or physical sensation. Go with me from word to word to word. At the end I will invite you to open your eyes and return your attention to the room.

“If not us, than who? If not now, than when?”

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

~Robert Frost
