The surrey women's Center is a place that helps women in domestic violence and experiencing sexual assault at home. I have chosen to donate the $5000 to this charity because they they specifically aim the charity towards women and also include sexual assault in their charity. If you volunteer you can work on the drop in center, and emergency outreach.
We can stop domestic violence from happening by not drinking or doing drugs around your kids, making sure your kids or family members are in safe environments, and by calling hotlines and charities.
