Bill Reid is famous for his art gallery.Haida art was some thing that Bill Reid embraced when he was on a trip to Haida Gwaii in 1945.
When was he born ?
Bill Reid was born on January 12,1920 in Victoria,BC to a Haida mother and a American father.Sadly he passed away on March 13,1998 in Vancouver from Parkinson disease.
Why we should know about him?
You should know about him because not only that he is from the Haida tribe but he is the most famous First Nations but it comes to art like sculpting.
