A Monument inspired by a Movement

The Dream. Inspired by a dream of Dr. Frankl, to bookend the Statue of Liberty in the East with an equally inspiring monument in the West - The Statue of Responsibility.

The Statue. The statue will represent a catalyst for unifying global project to enshrine and share a fundamental value; Responsibility.

“ Freedom is in danger of degenerating into mere arbitrariness unless it is lived in terms of responsibleness. That is why I recommend that the Statue of Liberty on the East Coast be supplemented by a Statue of Responsibility on the West Coast”

Dr. Victor Frankl, a Holocaust survivor and

who wrote a “Mans Search for Meaning”.

"Being asked to create a design

for Dr. Viktor Frankl’s vision of a

‘Statue of Responsibility’ has proven to not

only be a great honor, but one of the greatest highlights of my forty year career as a professional sculptor. In my mind I reasoned that huge word RESPONSIBILITY not only referenced our ‘ability to respond’, but also had to do with assistance and our need to connect with others physically AND spiritually - thus the two clasped hands. It also occurred to me that this ‘monument’ should not only be a simple form, but should reach upward to the skies. I chose a rectangle, hundreds of feet tall, with an unmistakable humanistic form, the handclasp. For me and hopefully others, it represents The ultimate of human connections and coming together."

Liberty and Responsibility are inseparable. Not only is responsibility a necessary condition for a free society to prosper, it will move you to become the best person you can be.

The Responsibility Campus combined with an educational outreach program will inspire others to think responsibly before taking action. It will be a worldwide movement; a solution which has the potential to solve many of the world’s biggest problems.

Responsibility allows for you to cultivate the skills you are best at and then to share these skills with the world. This creates a better society and a meaningful existence. Create a better you. Create a life of meaning and by that process, you will be part of creating a better world.

THE PLAN

Before rising 305 feet to the top, Patrons will walk

through the Halls of Responsibility giving each a

“Responsibility Experience”

The seven dynamic 2 story buildings surrounding the

STATUE OF RESPONSIBILITY will serve as educational

centers focusing on human core values.

Documentation

The "Responsibility" experience will be so compelling and the content modified periodically,

that patrons from around the world will return year after year to experience the energy.

The base of the Statue will be the “Responsibility Center”;

home for ticket sales, administration, retail activities and the entrance to the Statue.

Upon exiting, patrons will harvest

ideas and receive tools that will renew their commitment to responsible living.

SOR's PLAN

Liberty generated a little over $2.2b in revenue from 63m visitors during years 2000 - 2016.

The accomplished appraiser Richard Roddewig estimates the Statue of Liberty is worth $530m today.

He suggested that if Liberty were operated in a for-profit model it would be worth a whopping $2.068b.

Statue of Responsibility “SOR” operates in a for-profit model. SOR will invite only 110 corporate sponsors to participate in the CAP program. Becoming one of SOR’s CAP members entitles your organization to the following:

  • To be uplifted, honored and fully branded for 1 week at the Statue of Responsibility campus -estimated 25k visitors each day.

  • Full access to SOR’s state-of-the-art Responsibility Convention Center showing the world your prominence as a responsible world leader. You will also have the option of using the facility for an industry trade show during your week at SOR.

  • CAP members will be given space on the 3 foot tall granite slab surrounding the outside of the Responsibility Center at its base to have etched into the granite their corporate mark indefinitely. A potential 10m patrons will walk the Responsibility campus annually.

  • To be honored on SOR’s website for millions to witness how foundationally responsible you are.

  • To receive 8% of ticket revenue for the week (*details upon request).

  • To receive a custom website for their internal ticket sales to SOR campus for your week (*details upon request).

  • A 3-foot Statue of Responsibility placed on a lighted rotating stand to display in their lobby with a plaque recognizing them as a Responsible Foundational Sponsor of the Statue of Responsibility. *DETAILS UPON REQUEST

CAP SPONSORSHIP

Becoming a CAP Sponsor

  • Initial payment $18,000 with monthly commitment of $6,000 per month for a period of 4 years.

  • In addition to all the benefits previously mentioned CAP Sponsors will participate in 8% of the ticket revenue generated for their week at SOR.

  • Now here is the exciting part, when SOR breaks ground it will begin pre-selling tickets to the world. SOR estimates tickets for the 110 sponsored weeks will be sold in the first year. When this happens SOR will pay its Sponsors their 8% of ticket revenues, an estimated $450k (147%).

  • We are sure you’re asking: how are you planning to presell 16m tickets? First, understand that there are over 700m tickets sold in the USA each year to sporting and concert events, 16 million is only 2.2%.

SOR's Plan

  • Allow Sponsors and affiliates to sell tickets to their friends, family, customers, vendors etc. and earn a commission.

  • Each will be given their own unique URL

SOR to track sales and calculate commissions.

  • Before pre-selling tickets, SOR will have developed strategic relationships with global entities such as Delta Airlines, Marriott, Hilton, MGM, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Dell Computer, and Sephora, etc. asking them to structure benefit discount package(s) allowing these SOR ticket holders to redeem immediately. Value of which will be equal to the amount they spent on SOR’ tickets. A “$0” cost initiative!

  • The following slide is a second revenue source SOR created that will be used to provide Sponsors a return on their marketing dollars.

The Legacy Wall will consist of generous donors that desire to leave their mark forever, on a epic and meaningful American landmark like none other in America or for that matter the world.

The Legacy wall will be fortified with a long lasting foundation of concrete, along with the exterior that consists of beautiful rock, wood and carved granite with the proud donor being displayed for everyone to see, generation after generation. This will amount to millions and millions of people over the many years to come, including family generations.

Our design team will oversee this to ensure its long lasting, meaningful beauty comes through in a way that has an endearing look that lasts forever.

The size of the display will vary, depending on the Legacy option chosen by the corporate or personal donor.

This Legacy monument will be stunningly beautiful and represent the best that posterity has to offer.

The interior walls of the 7 buildings surrounding the Statue will be offered to families or businesses to purchase their space (8’ tall X 3,4,5,6,7… feet wide) wherein their logo or family crest will be etched into the granite slab for millions to see in perpetuity.

KEVIN CANNON

Kevin is a seasoned executive leader with a diverse background in all aspects of business, from executive team leadership to operations, to business development and sales.

One of the company’s that Mr. Cannon founded, Medallion, Inc., a freight invoice auditing and accounting company, that processed and paid over $500,000,000 dollars in freight invoices annually. They served companies such as Cisco, Williams- Sonoma, Brystol-Myers-Squibb, Sharper Image and Sony to name just a few.

Mr. Cannon’s vast experience and business acumen combined with his passion and firm belief in the Monument, makes him the right visionary to bring the exciting colossus Statue of Responsibility/Monument of the Century project together. Kevin also has an innate ability to assemble the best talent and then empower them to be the best they can be. A great team is what is required for such an endeavor and you can be assured it starts with a great, humble team leader; we are fortunate to have this with Kevin Cannon.

Paul Lydolph

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Paul has spent the majority of his career as a businessman, investor, business and asset protection attorney, as well as litigator. Paul is still widely recognized as one of the top Asset Protection attorneys in the nation. Paul remains a trusted advisor to several multi-million dollar businesses while acting as the Managing Partner of Lydolph & Weierholt. In the real estate sector, Paul has had almost 25 years experience as a real estate investor and founded his first national title agency more than 20 years ago, which is now one of the premier title companies in both the southwest and nationally. Paul is also very versed as a real estate attorney and understands all the nuances of the industry from boundary and construction fraud, to working with the various counties and cities on all the numerous legal dynamics that they deal with.

Paul is also a former full time In-House counsel and compliance officer for a Money Services Business (“MSB”).  While working for the MSB, Paul handled everything from compliance to intellectual property contracts, to all things legal.

Julie Call

Julie Call brings over 30 years of real estate/ construction and administrative experience to the team. She has been responsible for running and managing all aspects of commercial construction projects. She has been involved in meetings with owners, architects and developers during the design and specification process, selection and contracting general contractors and sub-contractors, attending jobsite and general construction meetings to overseeing the final walk-through of the projects. Julie is OSHA certified and has extensive training and knowledge of jobsite and project safety rules and regulations. Julie also brings her extensive administrative experience to our team. She has over 30 years’ experience working with business owners and assisting top executives with day to day business responsibilities. Her experience working with key players, knowledge of commercial construction and work on major construction projects and her eye for detail makes her an ideal and obvious choice for Chief Administration Officer.
