Reasons why we think it was him...
Joseph Barnett may of lived in 10 different locations in London so so he might of known the area and things like roads and back alleys this would explain how Jack the Ripper KIlled 2 victims in one night.
Joeseph Barnett was a fish porter so he might of had some knowledge about the human body and were the organs are. He lived With Mary Kelly the last Ripper victim and he would make money so she wouldnt have to be a prostitute.
Joseph Barnett's motive was he loved Mary Kelly and even refered to her as his wife and he murdered prostitutes to keep Mary Kelly off the streets while it worked for a bit when Joseph Barnett lost his job and Mary and Joseph were financially unstable and Mary went back on the street to earn money. Joseph also didint abrove of her drinking. Then Joseph and Mary fell out and started having violent arguments and one ended up with a broken window eventualy Joesph Moved out.
It was easy for Joseph Barnett to break in because he Knew the building since he had once lived there. Joseph then would of found it easy to murder Mary in her sleep, Joseph Barnett managed to dissemble her body to a carcus of flesh. And since the reason he murdered was to keep Mary off the streets he had no other reason to kill and thats why there was no murders after Mary Kelly.
