The Feudal Triangle is a represention of the ranks of people in Medivial Europe

Kings could give land to Dukes. Dukes could give land to Counts.

Serfs were at the bottom of the Feudal Triangle. They made up the majority of people. They lived for about 35 years due to poor living conditions, unceasing labor, and limited medical treatment. Their lives were basiclly contoled by their lord and couldn't travel farther than the manor.

Knights

Knights were nobels that served their lords in return for thr payment of arms, horses, and money and land. Noble boys were attached to lords and became a page at age 7.

they began military, scholarly, and religious traing. At age 15 they became a squire and would contiune. At age 21 eligible squirese could become kinghts. Knights were seen as honarable heros.

The upper nobility were dukes and bishops. Dukes were given land by the king.

The lower nobility were lords and counts. Each lord ruled their land and lived in a manor.

Kings were the ruler of all the land that he owned. Whenever the king needed knights he would call on his knights, the duke's knights, and the count's knights.
