Famous food in the Andes

Chuno- which is a freeze dried potatoes-; hot cereal and corn (which takes 9-10 months to grow);these are the most eaten food for the people that live on the mountains.

Animals in the Andes

Despite the terrible weather, some animals live in the awful snow-capped. Llama have many more cells so it can live in colder condition. A shaggy- coated yak is the key to survival; a yak is strong enough to carry all your luggage so you don't need to hold anything. Llamas can thrive in colder atmospheres even though animals live there, humans can live in the lower parts of the mountains and humans live but to harvest food that's hard.

THE MOUNTAINS SNOW - CAPPED CROWNS IS THERE ALL YEAR LONG. 6000m HIGH TOWERING THE GREAT ANDES IS THE LEGENDARY MOUNTAIN....................................ACONCAGUA! THE SUMMIT, THAT REACHES FOR THE HIGH HEAVENS ALWAYS GROWS HIGHER AND HIGHER MAKING IT MORE ADVENTUROUS . THE TECTONIC PLATES PUSH TOGETHER TO FORM A MOUNTAIN THAT CONQUER THE CLOUDS. PERILOUS GLACIERS - that threaten climbers - can kill people (there also know as avalanches). When reaching the summit you can look of over the whole of the other mountains. There are many plants and animals that live in the difficult and extreme weather and some people thrive there in the icy wilderness.

The Andes has it's favorite mountain Which is the awesome Aconcagua. Towering over America, it has a crown of snow - which is the king of the cloud -. Us humans are no conquers we are just visitor at this alien world. If you were to climb this legendary mountains, which stands at 6961 meters high. Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Equator and Venezuela: these are the seven countries that the Andes run through.
