my outlook has totally changed since we started the healthy living unit. I use to be unhealthy. I use to always have sugary drinks when i went out, but now i usually just get water. For physical activities nothing really changed. I always exercised for 60 minutes. For emotinal health nothing changed. I hope you liked my presentation.
I still sometimes eat junk food, but it has gotten a lot better. I am eating more fruits and i feel good about it. In my life physical activities look like swimming, jogging, or running. Im not maintaining my emotinal health because it doesnt need maintaining.
particpating in school activities and after school activities will give you healthier body weight, and make you more social because in some activities you need to talk to people. It will boost your confidence too
Your typical meal should have around 50% fruit and veggies, 25% grains, and 25% meat and alternitives and 1 glass of milk. An example of this would be a salad, half an apple, some rice, and chicken. For the drink it would just be milk. for me I usually have rice but the meal changes. Overall i think i have a healthy meal.
for a child ages 9-13, they should be having 6 fruits or veggies, 6 grain products, 3-4 milk and alternitive products, and 1-2 meat and alternitive products.
For me healthy living is very important. It is controling what you eat, maintaining your emotinal, and exercising everyday.
For me physical activities are exercising for 60 minutes a day, it can be jogging, running, swimming, soccer, road hockey, and basically every sport. Also using a treadmill is a good way to exercise if you are older. If you do these your chances of obesity lowers and chances of heart disease lowers.
healthy eating is pretty self explanitory. Eating fruits over chocolate, pretty much eating less added suger in stuff and eating fruits. Examples are apples over areo bars. If you eat healthy then your chances of obesity lowers and your chances of getting diabeties lowers.
emotinal health is being positive in hard times, not beating yourself up if you mess up, and maintaining relationships. If you do this then your chances of depression lowrers and you will overall be happy and postitive.
